In November 2005, Genesis was established by long-time turf professional Mike Del Biondo. Armed with the lessons and experience of more than 25 years in the turfgrass industry, he set out to provide turf and ornamental professionals with the best products and entirely new level of customer support. Genesis has grown rapidly to serve the Delmarva Penninsula, Maryland, Washington DC area, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Southern New Jersey and Northern Virginia. The Genesis sales team has also grown to include more superintendents, sports field professionals, and ornamental and lawn care specialists. He's also a 1990 Graduate of the Penn State Turf Management Program. Mike is an avid sports enthusiast and follows the (NCAA) Penn State Nittany Lions, the (NFL) Pittsburgh Steelers, the (NHL) Pittsburgh Penquins, and the (MLB) Pittsburgh Pirates. Currently, Mike resides with his family in York, PA and enjoys spending his time away from Genesis with them as much as possible. He also enjoys camping, playing the occasional round of golf, coaching youth sports and hanging out with friends.	Mark S. After graduating from Penn State's Turfgrass program, he started in the golf course industry where he completed his internship at Lancaster Country Club. Jon spent the last six years as a Branch Manager Representative in central PA with a well known lawn care distributor. Jon and his wife Rebecca and their four children Rachael, Aaron, Joshua and Emma live in Lancaster, PA. Jon enjoys coaching football, watching Hockey and archery hunting.
